This course aims to cultivate students' ability to understand the common pathological features in medical images taken by different imaging modalities in clinical use. It will provide a comprehensive overview, focusing on the clinical and radiological characteristics of common pathologies. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to: Integrate their knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology into the interpretation of medical images Describe the characteristic manifestations of common diseases in medical images Propose differential diagnoses for different organ systems based on specific imaging features related to potential pathologies Recognize the advantages/disadvantages of different imaging modalities in various pathologies Modify existing imaging protocols and/or propose different imaging modalities to distinguish ambiguous abnormal findings We will discuss the pathophysiology of common diseases, as well as the pathological characteristics in medical images captured by different imaging modalities.
