"We will give a crash course on two fundamental technologies that will reshape the future of the digital economy: cryptography and blockchain technology. We will give an overview of the basic concepts, and also introduce some recently developed research results. Tentative topics include Secure storage, Identification, Secure messaging and accountability, and Blockchain protocols and decentralized applications. One short paper on the open problems in this field."
