"I will be able to teach courses in International Relations and Diplomacy, Conflict and Cooperation, Maritime Strategy and Maritime Security, Area studies with special reference to South Asia, Counter Terrorism and Counter Radicalization. Indian Ocean and Belt and Road Initiative, International Political Ocean economy, Indo-Pacific Strategy and China. I will be able to combine my experience as a naval Admiral, Foreign Secretary, researcher and scholar from a practitioner point and academic view point. I will teach the courses with very clear English and with the help of Power Point Presentations, videos and photos. I will pause to make sure that students understand me and ask questions to check their grasping power. I will provide a list of recommended readings and will share the intended Power Point Presentation in advance, which will enable the students to prepare themselves prior to the lecture. I will also give them group tasks; to study and present on a selected topic related to the subject area. The course outcome will be measured by end-of-course group task and focus group discussion. I will use English as a medium of instructions to conduct my lectures. I will also introduce theoretical aspect with regard to each topic and the relationship between theory and practice. I will be aiming at developing basic understanding, knowledge and analyzing and communication skill of the students. I will encourage students to engage in research work with a view to make them more interested and understanding the topic. I will encourage students to compare the learning to own experience as students of International Relations. "
