The course includes two equal parts for 16 hours logically connected to each other due to the similar investigative background.Media culture is a very diverse and multi-functional course closely intertwined with the media theory which is necessarily pursued at schools of journalism and communication. Simultaneously, getting oriented in this field of humanity studies is extremely important for students of not only media studies but other humanity disciplines. The above course provides them with theoretical and practical frameworks of media functioning as part and parcel of the development of culture in the modern world. The course ends with writing a test holding 20 questions on the topics suggested for the examination during the lectures. The grade to be received is going to be considered as the main evaluation for the determination of students ’ knowledge about the subject.
